Whether you’re a parent, grandparent, teacher, or simply a lover of children’s books, I’m excited to take you along on this journey.

My name is Eric Boyle, and I write children’s fantasy chapter books with a special focus on family-friendly stories that are fun, uplifting, and filled with valuable life lessons. My inspiration for writing comes from my granddaughters, who first sparked my desire to craft imaginative tales that bridge the gap between picture books and chapter books. And so, Popop’s Magic Garden was born!

Popop’s Magic Garden is a magical world where kids can lose themselves in whimsical adventures while learning about bravery, friendship, and the importance of being true to themselves. The series is perfect for younger kids ages 4-6 who love listening to stories read aloud, as well as for older readers who are ready to dive into their first chapter books on their own. The language is accessible, but I always try to sprinkle in words that challenge young readers and help them grow!

I plan to use this space to share more than just updates on my latest books. I’ll give you insights into the writing process, how I come up with ideas, and maybe even a few sneak peeks into upcoming stories in Popop’s Magic Garden! Along the way, I’ll also provide tips on how to encourage young readers and keep storytime fun and engaging.
